Natural stone slabs stacked in the Zeolite Factory yard in Sukabumi

Factory

From Indonesian stone to export-ready products

Cutting, sizing, finishing, sorting, inspection and packing under one roof in Sukabumi, West Java.

Production, not brokerage

A large share of Indonesian stone reaches international buyers through several intermediaries. Each step adds cost and removes control: by the time a problem shows up in a container, nobody can say which workshop cut the material or how it was sorted.

Zeolite Factory works the other way round. Material is selected, cut, calibrated, finished, sorted, inspected and packed by our own team in Sukabumi. When you ask why a batch looks the way it does, or request a change to a profile, the answer comes from the people holding the tools.

That also makes custom work normal rather than exceptional. Sizes cut to a drawing, coping profiles, corner units, step pieces and carved elements are produced on the same line as standard tiles.

Production capability

  • Standard tile formats and free-length slabs
  • Cutting to project drawings and cutting lists
  • Coping profiles, nosings, drip grooves and mitred corners
  • Mesh-mounted mosaic and stacked stone panels
  • Hand-carved and CNC-worked limestone elements
  • Basins and vessel sinks in river stone, lava stone and limestone
  • Export crating and container loading

Production capacity and lead time depend on the product, quantity and season. Send your programme with the enquiry and we will confirm what is achievable.

Production stages

Eight stages, every order

Raw natural stone blocks in the factory yard before cutting
01

Raw stone

Blocks and raw slabs arrive from the quarry regions and are laid out in the yard. Material with structural cracks or heavy colour deviation is set aside before it reaches the saws — rejecting a block costs less than rejecting a container.

02

Cutting

Blocks are cut to slab, then to the nominal tile size or to the cutting list supplied with the order. Wet cutting keeps the blade cool and the edge clean.

03

Sizing and calibration

Tiles are squared and calibrated so thickness is consistent across the batch. Even thickness is what lets an installer keep a level setting bed over a large pool or floor.

04

Finishing

Sawn cut, honed, bush-hammered, sandblasted or natural surfaces are applied according to the order. Profiled work — coping, nosings, mouldings and carved elements — is produced at this stage.

05

Sorting

Tiles are colour sorted across the whole order rather than carton by carton, so a container arrives as a usable blend instead of a random mix of tones.

06

Quality inspection

Dimension, thickness, surface, edge and finish are checked before anything is crated, and the quantity is verified against the packing list.

07

Packing

Faces are interleaved, edges and corners protected, and crates built on fumigated timber and marked with product, size, finish and quantity.

08

Container loading

Crates are loaded and secured so weight is distributed and nothing can shift during the voyage, then documented for the agreed Incoterm and destination port.
