Wall Cladding
Facades, feature walls and interior stone surfaces
Natural stone cladding is used on Indonesian projects both outside and inside: facades and boundary walls in lava stone and andesite, softer limestone and paras panels in covered positions, and green stone where an interior wall continues a pool or water feature.
Cladding work depends on details rather than on flat area. Corner units, returns, reveals and the module of the wall determine how the finished elevation reads, so we produce mitred corners and L-shape pieces to drawing rather than leaving them to be cut on site.
Send the elevation and the setting-out and we will produce a cutting list with the flat tiles, corners and special pieces quantified.

Specification notes
- Fixing system
- Adhesive fixing, mechanical fixing or a combination is decided by the wall build-up, tile weight and local code. Confirm the system with your facade contractor before finalising thickness.
- Corners and returns
- Mitred corners and L-shape units give a continuous stone edge without a visible substrate line. Quantify them from the elevation at order stage.
- Stone choice by exposure
- Volcanic stones — lava and andesite — are the usual choice for exposed facades. Paras and softer limestones are better suited to covered or sheltered positions.
- Sealing
- Porous stone on a facade is normally sealed. Sealer choice depends on climate, exposure and the appearance wanted; confirm with your applicator.

Do you produce corner pieces?
Yes. Mitred corners and L-shape units are cut to drawing so the stone edge runs continuously around the corner.
What thickness is used for cladding?
Thickness depends on the fixing system, panel size and wall height. Send the specification and we will quote accordingly.
