Application
Swimming Pools
Waterline, wall, floor, steps and coping supplied as one package
Swimming pools are the application that drives most of our export volume. Indonesian green stone in particular is specified internationally for pool interiors because it changes character under water: the tone deepens, the natural movement in the stone becomes visible, and the water reads green rather than blue.
A pool package is more than tiles. It normally includes waterline tiles, wall and floor tiles, step and bench pieces, coping with a finished profile, and sometimes mosaic for curved sections. We quote and pack these together, labelled by pool area, so the installer is not sorting cartons on site.
Send the pool drawing with dimensions and we will return a quantity breakdown per element with the quotation.

Specification notes
- Colour under water
- Judge colour from a wetted sample. Dry samples read considerably lighter than the installed pool. Natural variation between blocks is normal; we sort to an agreed range across the whole pool order rather than per carton.
- Surface and finish
- Sawn cut is the usual pool interior finish. Deck and wet surrounds are commonly bush-hammered or sandblasted for texture. Slip requirements differ by market — your contractor should confirm the standard that applies.
- Installation and sealing
- Natural stone in permanently wet conditions requires an appropriate adhesive, grout and sealing system. Follow the recommendations of your pool contractor and material supplier for your climate and water treatment.
- Order the whole pool at once
- Ordering the full pool in one production run keeps the colour consistent. If replacement material may be needed later, include a percentage of spare tiles in the same shipment.

Swimming Pools — questions buyers ask
Which stone is used for the pool interior?
Sukabumi Green Stone is the most requested. Black lava stone is used for dark-water pools, and limestone or andesite are usually specified for the surround rather than the interior.
Do you supply step and bench pieces?
Yes, cut to the pool drawing and labelled separately in the packing.
