Export

How a shipment runs, start to finish

Nine steps from your first message to a loaded container, with the documentation issued for the Incoterm you specify.

Process

Nine steps to a loaded container

  1. 01

    Buyer sends inquiry

Stone, size, finish, thickness, quantity, destination port and required delivery period. Drawings and BOQs are welcome.

  2. 02

    Specification confirmed

We confirm what is producible, propose alternatives where a different stone suits better, and agree the colour range.

  3. 03

    Quotation / proforma invoice

Quotation on EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF terms, followed by a proforma invoice with the agreed payment terms.

  4. 04

    Production

Cutting, calibration, finishing and profiling to the confirmed specification and cutting list.

  5. 05

    Quality inspection

Dimension, thickness, surface, edge and colour checked; third-party inspection can be scheduled if you appoint one.

  6. 06

    Packing

Interleaved and edge-protected, crated on fumigated timber, strapped and marked by product and project area.

  7. 07

    Container loading

Loaded and secured for the voyage; loading photographs can be sent on request.

  8. 08

    Export documentation

Standard export documents issued per shipment and shared with your forwarder or customs broker.

  9. 09

    International shipment

Sailing to the agreed destination port. Transit time depends on the route, carrier and transhipment.

Quotation terms

EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF

Tell us which term you work on and we will quote to it. If you are not sure, FOB is the usual starting point for buyers with their own forwarder, and CIF for buyers who prefer one invoice to the destination port.

Shipping availability and freight rates depend on destination, carrier and shipment period.

EXW
Ex Works. You or your forwarder collect from our facility and handle export formalities and freight.
FOB
Free On Board. We deliver to the loading port and handle export clearance; you arrange the ocean freight.
CFR
Cost and Freight. We arrange the ocean freight to the destination port; insurance is on your side.
CIF
Cost, Insurance and Freight. As CFR, with marine insurance arranged for the voyage.

FAQ

Export — questions buyers ask

What is the minimum order?

We are set up for container shipments. Smaller trial quantities and sample orders can be discussed, and mixed containers combining several stones are common for villa and landscape projects.

Which ports do you load from?

Shipments normally load through Tanjung Priok (Jakarta), Tanjung Perak (Surabaya), Semarang, depending on the destination and the sailing schedule.

How long does production take?

Lead time depends on the product, the quantity, the finishing required and the season. We confirm a production window with the quotation rather than quoting a standard figure.

Can you quote freight to my port?

Yes, on CFR or CIF terms. Shipping availability and freight rates depend on destination, carrier and shipment period, so freight is quoted at the time of the offer rather than held as a fixed rate.

What payment terms do you work with?

Payment terms are agreed per order and confirmed on the proforma invoice. Send your requirement with the enquiry and we will tell you what we can work with.

Do you supply the documents my customs broker needs?

Standard export documentation is issued per shipment. If your country requires additional certificates or specific wording, tell us at order stage so it can be prepared in time.
