Exterior Paving
Driveways, terraces, pool decks and walkways
Exterior paving is where Indonesian andesite is used most: driveways, entrance courts, terraces, walkways and pool decks. It is dense, evenly coloured and holds a textured surface under traffic, which is why it carries most hard landscaping on Indonesian projects.
Limestone is used where a lighter, warmer surface is wanted, typically on terraces and around pools where surface temperature matters.
We cut paving to the layout supplied rather than to standard sizes only. Supplying the paving drawing at order stage reduces site cutting, waste and installation time.

Specification notes
- Traffic and thickness
- Vehicular paving is produced in heavier sections than pedestrian areas. Give us the loading and the bedding method and we will quote the appropriate thickness.
- Surface texture
- Bush-hammered, flamed and sandblasted surfaces are usual for external and wet areas. Honed and sawn surfaces are generally kept to covered areas.
- Laying pattern
- Send the paving layout. Producing to module avoids cutting full slabs on site and keeps the joint pattern true.
- Calibration
- Paving is calibrated so units lay to an even level, which matters more on large open areas than on small terraces.

Can you produce non-standard paving sizes?
Yes. Send the paving layout or cutting list and we produce to those dimensions.
Which finish is used for pool decks?
Bush-hammered and sandblasted finishes are the usual specification for wet areas. Confirm the slip requirement applicable in your market with your contractor.
